Fixed crashing - cause seems to be graphics card not playing nicely with DT and Arch linux as supplied by EndeavourOS. DT does not crash in this situation with same OS, OpenCL and same routine.
previous Graphic card - Radeon RX 5500 XT new Graphics card - Nvidia based Gigabyte RTX 2080 card OS - EndeavourOS LInux OpenCL installed using rocm-opencl-runtime Tried DT Arch repo package Tried DT build from DT GitHub Tried OpenCL installed and not installed and if installed, tried set on and off in DT In all these cases crash occurred when - import directory of .CR3 or .CR2 files - select a photo - activate the RAW Overexposure Indicator I tried other ways to fault-find but I don't know enough about packaging and I was running out of time. other issues to be sorted: watermark text doesn't show up in DT darkroom Canon mirrorless R cameras not in list - R, RP, R5, R6. I'll check the manual then ask if I get stuck. Sorry about reporting the lack of png watermarks - should have read the handbook (I didn't have any pngs for DT to find. Thanks for reading.
