Hello everybody
I am with darktable since three years, in this time a lot of unnecessary
things have accumulated in the database. For this reason I am thinking
about setting up the program completely new an I think the new darktable
4.0 woul be a good time to do this.. My data are on a external ssd
drive. Of course I woul make a saving of these data before deleting the
existing application.
I am aware, that I would have to import all the pictures again, now my
questions:
* Is this a good idea?
* As the xmp files are also stored on the external drive with the
files, do they automatically fit in the new import?
* Do I have to delete the config and cache folders manually?
* Off course I can then only import, what I want to have in the new setup.
* Does anyone have a recommenation?
