What do you mean by "handling with pics"? Do you see thumbnails in the lighttable view? Do they open in the darktoom? Does demosaicing work? Does lens correction work? Alternatively, you could post one of the troublesome pictures on the pixls.us forum to check if others also have problems opening it.
