Thanks for the quick reply. As a matter of fact I can find  reference to the 'black point compensation' in those pages when I want to print a file to my own printer BUT not when I export the file to be printed to an external lab of which  I don't know what brand of printer they use.

I'm using DT 4.2.2 on Ubuntu and send my jpeg files for printing to an external lab (Saal Digital) that provides me with the icc profile files for soft-proofing the various type of paper I want to be used.

The lab gives me also the setup for the printing on each kind of paper:

for instance

Color space:RGB

intent of rendering: relative colorimetric

...AND...

Black Point Compensation: Active

I don't know how to set this last item (black point compensation) in DT.

Any help?

Thank you

Vittorio
