If (big IF) you haven't done anything to the "duplicate" images, you could
open dt and collect *all* of your images, then using the "select" module,
choose "select untouched".

If you have made changes, I believe easiest would be to use an application
outside dt to find duplicates, remove the "duplicates" and the use the
included dt app, purge_non_existing_images.sh
