What version of darktable did you use?

Windows 7 has some known issues with the type of ICC profiles that
darktable used to generate. That was the case till some two weeks ago or
so. With a darktable version from current git master the problem should
be gone, as we take extra care to make our internal profiles more
compatible with Windows 7.

If you work with darktable 1.0.5 or earlier, here is a work-around: Find
an external sRGB.icc or sRGB.icm from some other program on your system
and copy this file into directory "$HOME/.config/darktable/color/out".
When doing exports, select output profile "sRGB" instead of "sRGB
(web-safe)".
