Gentlemen,
There are shortcuts F9 and F10 which increase/decrease brightness of the
GUI (see Global shortcuts in Settings). There are also F7 and F8 for
contrast, but they don't seem to do any significant changes.
I don't use them, so I can't tell if the settings will restore after
application restart.
