Hi all,

I would like to know if it's possible to have darktable interpret fonts
which are either embedded or styled, so that string substitution can be
used with NICE fonts. All I get is system fonts and they leave a lot to be
desired. What I'm hoping to do is have either tags, date and information
on photo taking conditions substituted through string substitution but to
use a nice looking font for that, like one of google's free fonts (Josefin
Sans) or something along those lines.

If I'm off the mark and there's already a way to do this, say by manually
editing the SVG file, then please, someone correct me. Currently I've been
trying to use SVGs exported from Adobe Illustrator with unsatisfactory
results. The only way I can seem to use a non-standard font is if I do an
outline of the fonts before exporting the SVG, but that doesn't allow me to
use string substitution and embedding the font within the SVG doesn't seem
to make any difference whatsoever.
