Subject: Watermarks & Alpha
To: Darktable-users <[email protected]>
Hi All,
So I've found an issue which is most irritating with watermarks.
Transparency and alpha don't seem to blend properly on svgs which are used
as watermarks. I am going to include my watermark here as well as a
sample. The watermark has a gradient with a portion of white with some
opacity. However for whatever reason, this renders as grey when on top of
a white background. To top it off - the edges don't anti alias to the
actual picture but get the same "grey" kind of effect.
Someone on IRC said that there were recent changes to the watermark module,
do they address some of these peculiarities? What is up with this?
Thanks!
