Basically the behaviour is as follows: when you follow the line no
adjustment is made, when you move from the line the adjustment is done (as
the triangle moved to the next line). So if you want to make a coarse
adjustment, you move horizontally close to the slider, as the lines are
closer, the changes are bigger/faster. If you move down along the line, and
then move horizontally, the adjustment is finer, as it takes more movement
to reach the next line.
