That's not practical at all: it is when I treat each picture, that I can
see whether a B&W picture version, or differently-cropped, or whatever
different version could also be interesting.
I won't do to work on two hundred versions, then go back to each in
lightroom mode to wonder whether I would like one or two clones, or none at
all, then back to darkroom to treat them individually.
When working on a specific picture, I'm 'in' it, working in the specific
mood of that one, and not the previous, nor any other of the whole batch.
Additionnally, if I want to publish pictures in several batches so the
customers don't have to wait for the whole lot to be available, I need to
put on line all the versions of the same pictures at the same time.
See there:
http://www.jingoo.com/index.php?key_user=$1$8YF4nxH3$oXwEOAZHB0Oljspiyh501/and
this only a very small part of what has been shooted that day (I was
too tired to go further last night) but at least I have pictures on line,
and in all the versions I intend to produce.
Time and efficiency are essential here.
