Hi, coming from AftershotPro, i installed Darktable 1.2~rc2 on LinuxMint14(64Bit) a few days ago and gave it a try. So far the results are really good and when you get used to it, it is also easy to use.
When i came to the point of importing my picture library DT crashed immediately. After a while i figured out that only older folders cause that. In that folders there where already old XMP files. For example "101-0105_IMG.JPG" with "101-0105_IMG.xmp" beside. I don't know where these files come from but i don't want to delete all xmp files, since there are also the Aftershot xmp files around, i want not to lose. I gave also an older version a try, without any success.
