I managed to install version 1.1.3 on Fedora 17 as an update package, but at first I had some trouble with it. So I tried to install the tarball for 1.1.4, but I never succeeded because I couldn't find everything it needed. I got most of what it needed, but I can't remember where it failed. Fortunately, my problems with version 1.1.3 eventually resolved, and I am using that. Otherwise I might have been in trouble because, once I had upgraded to 11.3, there didn't seem to be a way to go back to my previous version, 1.1.1.
