Good strategy :) Typically I tend to upgrade to a new release of a month or so after release. Though I've been providing raring packages at least since 1.2 has been released... Historically speaking I've never been more than a few days behind an official Ubuntu release with supporting it. The plus PPA doesn't have an updated Exiv2 yet though, I'll try to get that done before 1.2.1... > Doubly so when 13.10 comes out. While I personally couldn't care less about OpenCL at the moment (since there isn't a truely open implementation yet), I do care a lot about the color management stuff, and I'll be trying to figure out what Mir's consequences would be in the coming month's.
