As the subject says, bear with me if I sound stupidly dumb. To my
defense, neither the manual nor the user-list archives helped ;)

Let's say I create a style which includes the levels module. Levels
provides an "Auto" function. Shouldn't this "Auto" algorithm then be
applied individually on each later picture that I apply the style to? I
checked, currently "Auto" samples the current image, stores the
black/gamma/white points and applies the same values to each subsequent
image the style is applied to. As such, shouldn't "Auto" rather be a
check-box than a button?

Another module where the situation seems similar is the lens correction
where you can "auto-scale". Couldn't fully verify this yet though but I
guess the behavior is the same. And I guess I could find more such
cases by digging in other modules.

Am I misunderstanding something or is this a missing feature?
