Hello Christo,

the preview is not just like JPEG, it actually *is* JPEG. RAW files
usually contain an embedded JPEG in addition to the raw data. Until the
RAW has been opened the first time in darkroom, darktable shows the
embedded JPEG (there exists an option to disable this behaviour).

By the way: You normally don't want to drop the modules base curve and
sharpen from the history stack, you should always leave them there,
except if you exactly know what you are doing.
