Q1) I also have my camera set to AdobeRGB but as long as you are just taking RAWs I don't think it makes any difference at all to dt.
Q2) Is your camera being recognised and hence applying the appropriate base curve? Basic workflow tutorial - have you read the darktable book? (available from http://www.darktable.org/resources/ ) Rgds, Rob. -----Original Message----- From: Torsten Stocklossa [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 09 July 2013 15:14 To: Darktable-users Subject: [Darktable-users] Darktable input profile Hi, I wonder if there are any basic ( always works settings ) to start with. I read through the documentation and make my own experience with Darktables settings e.g. camera is on AdobeRGB profile, I use an Adobe RGB (1998) input profile ( downloaded from Adobe ) Q1: Does it even make sense to user another input profile? ( using RAW files from the EOS 5DM2) Q2: the pictures come very dark after the import e.g. I need to adjust the exposure +2EV at least Is there a basic worksflow tutorial somewhere ? Would you guys use DT as a library or use something else ( F-Spot ) ? cheers Torsten ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ See everything from the browser to the database with AppDynamics Get end-to-end visibility with application monitoring from AppDynamics Isolate bottlenecks and diagnose root cause in seconds.
