I am happy using the datacolor spyder 4 pro under ubuntu. You can use it
via a shell-script or install the gnome-color-manager via apt-get. The
latter starts color-management when you plug-in the spyder and is well
integrated in unity. Select your desired color-temperature and follow
instructions. That's it.
