This condition, switching from darkroom view to lighttable view has deteriorated in the last ?month's? git versions considerably. I now *never* return to the same file except if that file was open in the lighttable view before going to darkroom, ie: going from darkroom to lighttable view *always* provides the file last viewed in lighttable. This seems not to follow the "expand grouped images" senario as I have been working entirely in the expanded mode. I have resorted to viewing "unstarred only" and applying 1 star to images I believe I have finished editing. But this is a cludge/work-a-round and creates other problems, demotes the rating system, adds work/keystrokes and confusion to my age challenged memory.
