I only speak of correct colours relative to the white point.  In art
photography, you need not more usually.

It is only the dragging of left-most point to the left outside the
basecurve module (thus removing it), and checking whether the
lobsters are gone.  I'm interested in whether this ameliorates the
bad effects you reported; I won't ask you to do further testing.
