Hello,

I am a new user of darktable (1.2.2). It is a very nice software and also the user manual is a great help.

But there is one point that I do not understand and which I did not find in the manual nor in the various internet websites. Maybe somebody here can explain this to me:

If I look in the lighttable modul a photo looks "normal", but when I switch to the darkroomm module that photo becomes a completly different color appearance after a second. Seems that there are different filters applied when switching to darkroom. But even if I deactivate all filters I do not get the same color balance than in the lighttable modul for that photo.

Is this because a different base curve is applied in lighttable and in darkroom? Where is this base curve coming from - I have never configured it as far as I remember.

I would be happy if someone could give me a hint on what I have to change in my configuration to get initially the same coloration in lighttable and darkroom for beginning of photo improvement.

With kind regards,

Stefan
