I tried that, but it fails because there is a problem installing the
necessary version of libc6. 
When I tried to run 

apt-get build-dep darktable

to be able to build the most recent version of darktable myself, it failed
because libflickcurl-dev is not available in wheezy and the version in
jessie fails because it'd need to install libflickcurl0 from jessie. This
again fails because of the conflicting libc6 versions (same as with
darktable). It'd be great if daktable 1.2 was backported to wheezy :-)
