Hello,

the more I experience with darktable the more I like this great software!
Today I have taken some photos of different scenes with high contrasts at
night to get an impression on how HDR composing with DT works.

The manual helps a lot to get nice results in short time. But at one point I
am not sure if I do something wrong. All images that show bright light spots
(like the street lamps) are converted to black or violet spots with
surrounding bright lights (see http://web.yourweb.de/hdr.jpg). This effect is
also visible on the hdr image if I turn off any filtering and tone mapping in
the darkroom module. I compared this with enfuse (but used the jpg output of
the three input images) and there the lights do not appear with this artifact.

So I would like to ask users with experience in HDR with darktable: is there a
chance to avoid these artifacts?

With kind regards,

 Stefan
