hm, kindof. you need the source and you need to compile
tools/noiseprofile/noiseprofile (the directory also holds the gen-profile
script). you don't need to install git/source compiled dt though, just the
tool.

no, the new script is a lot smarter than that, just put the raws in a new
empty directory and call
gen-profile -d .
(note the dot) in that directory.
