Hi,

as we are talking about UI design: Often I find myself hunting for a scroll 
bar, those are nearly invisible. I respect your design choice, but maybe they 
could light up if a mouse hovers close to them?

Most things are generic GTK widgets. The only custom ones are

- "bauhaus" sliders and dropdown lists as used in darkroom, see [0]
- the flat buttons and sliders as used on lighttable (for example the quality 
slider in the jpeg export format).
