Hi,
Is there any convenient way to move around the picture in a systematic way
for purposes of spot removal? In Lightroom, iirc there's a button you can
press (I believe it's Tab) when you're zoomed in at 100% and it basically
moves the zoomed portion of the image from left to right (it snaps to the
next "row" once you reach the end of the top of the image). This is very
convenient for spot removal, as you can make sure you cover the entire
image.
I know you can move the box around the thumbnail at the top left corner to
move the zoomed portion of the image around, but that can result in errors
as it moves in all directions and you can't restrict it to move in only one
direction in a consistent manner.
Is there a shortcut key I'm missing here or is this functionality not in
darktable?
Also, is it possible to make the spot removal tool to behave like the mask
brush tool (in the sense that you can adjust the size and have a visual
indication of the size before clicking)? I find that more often than not,
the default size for the spot removal is too large for removing dust spots
in pictures, and having to constantly adjust the "brush" strokes only after
drawing them is a bit inefficient.
