Hi,

In January and February I tested darktable 1.1.2 on USB-stick running
a persistent live version of Ubuntu. After that I had a hiatus in my
photography. Recently I picked up the camera again and continued using
darktable. So I created an external HDD with Kunbuntu and now running
darktable 1.2.3.

dt112 recognized my lens - Tamrom 18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 XR Di II LD -
automatically, but dt123 shows "153" as my lens. When I manually try
to select my lens for lens correction it is shown two times in the
list. One on top of the list, the other one at the bottom. I see no
difference between the two of them. And when I select one of them
"image information" still shows "153".

Today I booted from the (outdated) usb-stick and 1.1.2 does recognize
the lens correctly and only one entry is shown in the list of lenses.

So now my questions are:
Why are there two entries for the same lens?
Which one should I choose?
Although very likely related to the above, why did 1.1.2 recognize the
lens and 1.2.3 not anymore?

Regards,
Frank
