After having used less sophisticated programs to manage my photo's over the
years I started using Darktable and I am impressed.

Originally I thought of only importing raw photo's but lately I decided to
import all the old stuff (and some of the programs in the past have scanned
the hard disk and collect all the images and also form thumbails.

In the end I had more than 115000 photos of which many were thumbails and
other junk.

So I decided the easiest way to identify the thumbnails and eliminate them
was to do delete all the .thumbnails-directories on operating system level
(Debian Jessie). Unfortunately that was after I imported it.

IN the process of deleting stuff in Darktable it often freezes and
sometimes just quit.

I see this regularly:

** Error in `darktable': corrupted double-linked list: 0x00007f26dc019a10
***

I don't know whether I am just asking too much of Darktable or if it is a
bug.

Regards
Johann
