But group and others have read permission :)

Same output, well one line more:

$ sudo ./clinfo 
modprobe: FATAL: Module nvidia-uvm not found.
Unable to query the number of platforms: unknown error -1001

Not sure what nvidia-uvm is! And apt-file search does not return
anything on my system.
