As the sidecar files are just xml, so I think an easy way is to add GPS
info to the sidecar.
You could e.g. just take a sidecar without GPS, add GPS info by hand and
use diff against both, then you see which tags you need. Then use your
favourite way to handle XML files to transfer the info. AFAIK exiftool
gives you easy access to the GPS info in your raw, so probably some
lines of perl using it's lib, if you're comfortable with this.
