Hi All I have just noticed that, if I use another program to first rate my images (I use digikam to give my images a star rating from one to five) then import them into Darktable for processing when I open the image in darkroom it doesn't automatically apply the base curve, sharpening etc. I assume this is because digikam writes an xmp file for the image first? So Darktable only applies the base curve etc if there is no existing xmp file? Is there a way to change this? I seem to think that I used to be able to rate files in digikam and then import them into Darktable and Darktable applied the base curve etc anyway.....
