Downloads$ date;cp ubuntu-14.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso ubuntu-14.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso2;date Wed Aug 13 22:21:53 CEST 2014 Wed Aug 13 22:22:04 CEST 2014 14 seconds to copy a file over twice the size of the database file would indicate another issue altogether, either something is causing a bottleneck in/during/shortly after logging in or there's something completely else going on > Try to look if your hard-disk as not error & begin to die (look on dmesg > via a terminal /smart information ( via gnome-disks (old name palimset) > Or Try to tune your drive with hdparm or look in bios is not > mis-configured Already checked those (and they're monitored with smartmontools) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Darktable-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/darktable-users
