Ok, this is probably an operator error (myself, I mean) --- let's see if someone can point me to what I did the wrong way.
I installed a new PC with Ubuntu Gnome 14.04, and copied my image collection here; I edit that one with darktable 1.4.2 before. Never used (unless, again, operator error) any experimental version. After the installation of darktable from ppa:pmjdebruijn/darktable-release, I went to the top of my tree and told DT to import recursively all the photo. Now, I had some preset (for output especially) on the other DT; I supposed that they would be ignored --- I do not mind. Now I have a problem that I do not know how to solve. When I load again some of the folders (in lighttable, import folder, choose) sometime the folder come out with a lot of thumbnails flashing, as if DT were re-rendering it all the time. ItÅ› difficult to explain; I have a animated gif (the color artefact are for compression, please ignore) here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/57662186/out.gif When behaving like that, I cannot export photos from the lighttable (I can go into darkroom and export with Ctrl-e). I am really at a loss in understanding what's happening here. Should I delete my library.db and start again?
