This has been discussed multiple time (because it's one of those things
that seems like a good idea at first but are very complicated to get right)
parametric mask are not masks (as in : a set of pixels that are "in" and
pixels that are "out" ) they are functions that are intimately linked to
the module to which they are attached (the same parameters applied to
another module will not result into the same mask) so blindly allowing
re-use of parameteric masks won't work the way you expect
making param-maks independent means changing in a very complicated way how
our internal pipe works and thus is not planned.
