Hi,

when I want to print bigger prints at a print shop like
www.theprintspace.co.uk, I have to increase the pixel count, to fill
e.g. 40*60cm at 300ppi from a 12 MPix image.

(Yes, this makes sense, since large images are viewed from a greater
distance, and its better that I decide exactly how I want to do the
scaling instead of the print shop).

Right now darktable does not support a larger output than the RAW file
size. So I have to use another tool like e.g. GIMP for scaling, using
a processed image. I think it would be better for the image quality if
the RAW file data is used as far as possible, also for scaling.

It would be great if darktable could get a module for this, maybe in
version 2.0?

Thanks for a great program!

Cheers
  Michael
