 0x9003         DateTimeOriginal        string  ExifIFD         (date/time when 
original image was taken)
 0x9004         CreateDate      string  ExifIFD         (called 
DateTimeDigitized by the EXIF spec.)

which implies to me that DateTimeOriginal would be the one to change... at 
least, that's what I've done with the film that I've scanned.
