I do not know if it is Ubuntu Studio 14.04 or the nVidia driver. Something has changed, I can not recommend nVidia any more. Trying to get the OpenCL to work is a real pain in the butt. If and when it works, the next upgrade doesn’t work again. I have almost given up on trying to have openCL in Darktable. I tested my K2000 with Ubuntu 14.04 and Windows 7 in a video editing program called (Lightworks) A couple of the test are shaders and playback.
