Hi, This is an update for the git master based rpms. Currently the following distributions have up to date rpms packages.
Fedora 20 Fedora 21 openSUSE 13.1 openSUSE 13.1 openSUSE Tumbleweed openSUSE Factory The packages have the following name structure darktable-1.7.0.1420723337.eafa9ea-783.1.TM.x86_64 where "eafa9ea" represents the git hash the package was build from. Therefore when reporting issues to the dev team this is what you need to mention, everything else is cosmetics.
