I simple set no pw in kwallet, which is not preferable.
Tks, that indeed was the problem. Appears I had not started an app which usually requires opening kwallet and since I have not configured a password for darktable, initiating darktable did not activate kwallet and request the master password. Darktable should know it has no password and not request kwallet or the "frontend" in darktablerc should be set to "none", or darktable should cause kwallet to request it's master passwd. This is the first time I have experienced this "delay", but looking thru my backups, I see that kwallet has been listed as the "frontend" for quite some time, at least prior to the last of Nov. Guess the first time I presented the unique circumstances. tks, I am now educated :^) -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ New Year.
