I am using darktable-cli. I was wondering if there was a way of over-riding
(i.e. ignoring) the camera orientation from its “smart” sensor. It is a Canon
Eos 5D Mk III. I know it can be turned off in the camera menu which is fine but
I would like to do it permanently. I guess I could re-write the exif data in a
script but that is rather clumsy. I can’t see any setting in the darktablerc
file. It becomes a bit of an issue when the camera is pointing straight down
and can’t work out which way up it is.
