Note: i have switched from gentoo to debian gnu/linux almost a year ago, so
my data might be outdated.

I would put that "ebuild for osm-gps-map-1.0.2" into local repo, and would
try emerging it into a slot.
Also, consider talking to darktable ebuild maintainer.
And finally, tell him to update deps listed in
http://sources.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/gentoo-x86/media-gfx/darktable/darktable-9999.ebuild?view=markup
they are really old, and does not represent our current requirements.
