You don't need to uncheck the box. If the setting is greyed out then darktable does not use OpenCL because darktable has not found a running OpenCL environment on your system. Anyhow the Intel-GPU OpenCL system is still very shaky. AFAIK there has been no success report on using it with darktable yet.
