I employe something similar which suits my purpose better: exiv2 mv \-k \-r %y%m%d_%H%M%S_:basename: \.\/*.{nef,jpg,xmp}' Besure to change "mv" to "cp" for testing. I also lower case all filenames before importing to dt, and set the file date-time to the image date-time: exiv2 -T ./*.{nef,jpg} -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Monitor 25 network devices or servers for free with OpManager!
