When uploading the photos to Redmine there's always an "error" behind
the RAW images (see attached screenshot).
Is this intended behavior or a real problem (the files are smaller than
39.1 GB).

This isn't really needed. We have standard base curves per brand.
Per-camera ones are a possible extra.

For all other steps any RAW does the job.
For basic support yep. We can also add a custom color matrix and a
noise profile for which specific shots are needed.
My biggest problem for doing it myself is the lack of the Adobe DNG
Converter. (I don't even have a supported operating system to run it.)
The DNG converter runs fine under wine but just provide the raw files
from the camera and we'll do the rest. We have it pretty well scripted
by now.
