Hello,

This is a Dell laptop with Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU P9400 @ 2.40GHz × 2.

It is indeed a rather old computer, I must admit.

The thing that puzzles me is that, on that same computer, I have been using
another photo software that was

behaving quite opposite to DT : very slow when importing photos into library,
but very fast when exporting them

to JPEGs, at a point I could export both 85% and 100% in a few seconds per
photo.

Given the speed DT imports pictures at, I had expected it would export very
fast too.

About the high-resources-consuming modules, you may be right but (I'll check
this further as I am not quite

sure) it seems that (some ?) pictures with only demosaicing, basecurve, HL &
Shadows and Lens correction took

more than twice the time of others with WB, demosaicing, basecurve, HL &
sahdows, exposure, local contrst,

tonecurve, monochrom, profiled NR & lens correction - respectively ~20 and ~45
seconds.

I ended up exporting 345 pictures (and not 256), and it took over 2 hours and
40 minutes to achieve.

I'll do the test you suggest then come back and report. Or just wait for 2.0 to
be released !

Regards,

J.-Luc
