Do you mean mesa opencl? (https://wiki.freedesktop.org/dri/GalliumCompute/)
If yes, there is no  2D image {read,write}  support there, so you
should NOT be using it.

As a matter of fact, NONE of current open OpenCL implementations is
capable-enough
for DT, as far as we concerned.
