I've recently started to implement color management (Archlinux with OpenBox) and considering switching from LightZone to a more elaborate photo software. Darktable seems promising except for color management. It is very easy to specify a monitor profile for Gimp, LightZone and Firefox but Darktable seems to insist on using a scheme that effectively couples it with gnome or kde desktop managers. In effect I would need to switch to a massive desktop manager just to indicate to Darktable the path to a single file on my computer...
Is my understanding correct? Is there a way to specify the location of the monitor profile to Darktable?
