You can use the Darktable Unstable PPA: https://launchpad.net/~pmjdebruijn/+archive/ubuntu/darktable-unstable Be warned that it may break (thus unstable) and you cannot downgrade your library (custom settings etc) afterwards. It is not recommended to choose this way for unexperienced users.
