Hi Tobias,

the full command doesn't produce any output.
To check if I did something wrong I shortened the command to
~ $ sqlite3 ~/.config/darktable/library.db 'select name from presets'
and that gave me a whole lot of output lines.

So it seems that export is completely deleted from database like

I used several different output presets - but all save to disk in either 
jpg or tiff.
Some of them scaled down, some of them in original size.
Folder path usually is something like
~ $ /archive/out/{YYYY-MM-DD}/{original-filename}.tif
