not as far as I know.
Since the Manual is equally vague on this matter, manually adding the
file/files from
~/.local/tmp is the somewhat cumbersome practical workaround!
no, what I do is export to my normal export folder which is open in nemo
anyway. From there I select the files and use the context menu of nemo
to "send as mail" (not sure about the english translation) - this will
work with thunderbird as well.
You can also drag and drop from nemo to an open draft mail.
